The Thriving Pastors Cohort is limited to 6 participants and the 8 month cohort includes:
Michael Spivey draws on nearly 30 years of pastoral ministry experience, LOTS of relevant research, and walking through life with ministry colleagues to assist you on your ministry journey. The Thriving Pastors Initiative is a personal and church health tool. We exist to help you in your personal walk with God, ministry, & calling so you can sustain for the long haul. This is a relationship based approach that will help grow you as an apprentice of Jesus and leader in your specific ministry context.
Ministry fatigue, feelings of failure, isolation, and burnout are at an all time time high in the church. In America, smaller church pastors are often viewed as failures or at least second class citizens. Our Cohorts address real ministry and personal issues that nearly every leader faces. Also, the experience will help you cultivate relationships not only with your lead mentor but with those who are walking a similar road. In this atmosphere of shared values, trust, and confidentiality, you will grow in your relationship with Christ and one another. Life-long friendships will be forged in this sacred space.
