The Spivey's

Michael & Jennifer have served Christ and his  Church in vocational pastoral ministry since 1996. Their experience includes being staff and lead pastors in  small & large church environments, church planting, and church revitalization. The Spivey's have lived and served in large, multicultural cities and in quiet country towns. Before transitioning to Convoy of Hope the Spivey's last served at People's Church in Winter Haven, Florida for 17 years.

We have been pastors & understand the blessing & difficulties that come with pastoral work. We all need mentors and friends to walk with us on the God journey for the entirety of our lives. If you find yourself tired, lonely, or in the throes of ministry burnout, come and walk with us. Strength, purpose, and encouragement are waiting for you. God is much more concerned with you than your ministry and we desire to partner with you & God to bring about life-long flourishing.

We were created for community. The fact is that 70% of ministers don't have a single person that they can be completely honest with - and that's not good.  Ministry is hard enough without doing it alone! It is our belief that growing in the context of community produces the best and most healthy results. This cohort could drastically change your ministry effectiveness and longevity.
